Pickup Information
All orders are pickup-only at our Ashland City store. Federal hazmat rules don't let us ship consumer fireworks — and honestly, you'll have more fun loading up the truck in person anyway.

About 25 minutes from downtown Nashville. Take I-40 W to TN-251 N, then 9 miles north on Hwy 12. Big red building on the right with a tent out front during the season.
When
In-season pickup hours: Mon–Sun, 9 AM – 10 PM
Off-season: Preorders only. We'll text you when your order is ready as the season opens.
What to bring
- Photo ID showing you're 18 or older. Driver's license, passport, military ID — anything official. We card every customer.
- Your order number. Email confirmation works, or just the number on your phone. We can also look it up by name.
- A vehicle big enough to carry your order. Most orders fit easily in a trunk. If you bought a Tennessee Thunder Mega Pack or a stack of artillery kits, bring the truck.
- Cash or card for any add-ons. If you change your mind at the counter and want to add to your order, we can ring it up on the spot.
The process
- Pull into the lot — parking is on the front and east sides.
- Come inside, show ID, give us your order number.
- We'll pull your items from inventory while you grab a popsicle.
- Quick review at the counter — make sure everything matches your order — then we help you load.
- Out the door, usually in under 10 minutes during off-peak hours. Plan extra time on July 3 and December 30.
If you can't pick up yourself
You can authorize someone else to pick up your order — but they must also be 18+ with a photo ID, and we'll need the order number. Email orders@capfireworks.com or call us at (615) 517-9053 at least 24 hours before pickup to add an authorized name to your order.
Cancellations and our refund policy
All sales are final. Capital Fireworks does not provide refunds on consumer fireworks. Once your order leaves the store, it cannot be returned for safety and regulatory reasons.
Preorder cancellations are not automatic. If you need to cancel a preorder before pickup, please call or email us — each request is reviewed by management on a case-by-case basis. If a cancellation is approved, a 20% restocking fee applies and the remaining 80% is returned to your original payment method within 5 business days. The same fee applies to order changes that reduce the total.
Defective product must be reported within 48 hours of pickup. Bring the item and your receipt to the store; resolution (replacement or store credit) requires authorization from our distributor.
Non-refundable: Preorders not picked up by the end of the legal sales window (Jul 5 for summer, Jan 2 for winter) cannot be fulfilled. Tennessee law prohibits us from releasing fireworks outside these dates, and orders left unclaimed are not refundable.
